On Day 2 of this Scandinavian tour, enjoy a hearty breakfast and then check out from the hotel. We will now set out on a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Helsinki, visiting attractions such as Sibelius Monument and enjoying a scenic drive past the city’s busy harbor and shipyards, down the coastal road by Embassy Park and to the colourful open-air market. You will also visit the Senate Square, which is home to an elegant Lutheran Cathedral, as well as Esplanadi, a popular shopping avenue where many designer shops are located.
The tour will also take you down Mannerheim Street, past the Parliament building, the National Museum, and the Finlandia Hall – a popular venue for events. We will also visit the Temppeliaukio Rock Church, a unique church carved out of a single rock. We will also see the Olympic Stadium Helsinki constructed for its hosting of the 1952 Olympic Games.

Our first stop will be at Karlstad – a beautiful lakeside town in Sweden. After a short tour of Karlstad, we will continue on our journey across the border to Oslo, the capital City of Norway. Check in at the pre-booked hotel in Oslo.
Overnight in Oslo
After breakfast, on Day 5 of this tour, we will embark on a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Oslo. We will be accompanied by a Local Tour Guide, proficient in English as well as the city’s attractions. Attractions that we will visit as part of the tour will include the Royal Palace, Parliament, the Medieval Akershus Fortress, the mid-20th Century City Hall, the National Theater, and the Vigeland Sculpture Park, a famous park with over 200 stone, bronze and cast-iron sculptures.
The tour will further continue on to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, a large ski jumping hill and venue for numerous International-level Skiing competitions. Enjoy breathtaking view of Oslo fjords from the top. Enjoy a scenic ride through stunning mountain scenery; at Myrdal, disembark from the Bergen Railway and board the legendary Flam Railway for a scenic train ride through some of the wildest and most stunning vistas of the Norwegian fjords. On arrival at Flam, we disembark from the Flam railway and board a cruise ship for a magnificent cruise through the famous Norwegian fjords – from the magnificent Aurlandsfjord to the dramatic and narrow Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in all of Europe.
Your Fjord cruise experience ends with the arrival of the ship at Gudvangen, a small village nestled in the innermost folds of the Nærøyfjord, where we disembark and continue the fjord experience with a scenic and thrilling ride down the steep hairpin bend roads along the fjord and thereon back to Bergen.
