Arrive at Athens and complete all immigration formalities. Our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in Athens for check-in. No activities are planned for the day, so you are free to rest, explore the immediate neighbourhood and bask in the magic of Greece.

After breakfast, venture out into the city for a Morning Athens Sightseeing Tour, a tour that leads you on a journey of discovery through Athens magnificent sights and attractions. Travel back in time with a visit to the Panathinaiko Stadium, the venue for the first Olympic Games held in 1896; the 15.5-hectare National Garden designed by the First Queen of Greece; and Hadrian’s Arch, a 131 AD marble arch that leads to the Temple of Olympion Zeus.
An ancient temple the Temple of Olympion Zeus is dedicated to Zeus, the Greek God in whose honour the Ancient Olympic Games were conducted. In its heyday, the Temple of Olympion Zeus was the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest statues of Zeus. Only crumbling ruins remain today, but even they are so magnificent that it is easy to envision the temple in its original glory.
Return to the present as you drive past landmarks such as Prime’s Ministers Residence, Constitution Square and Parliament House, the Royal Palace that has served as a Presidential Mansion since the abolishment of the country’s monarchy in 1974. The tour continues to the Acropolis of Athens, or simply Acropolis, an ancient citadel and one of the finest architectural and historical structures from Greek Antiquity. Perched atop a rocky outcrop on the outskirts of Athens, the Acropolis is especially renowned for Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erechtheion.
After the tour ends, return to your Athens hotel. In the evening, enjoy a stroll through the ancient Plaka Area, an ancient neighbourhood in Athens that has been inhabited since antiquity, with several architectural and historical landmarks standing testimony to its age. End the day with an Optional Dinner in a Greek Folk Tavern with Traditional Greek Music and Live Show.

After breakfast, proceed for a Full-day tour to Delphi, one of the most important archaeological ruins in Greece. In ancient times, Delphi was renowned amongst Greeks as the Navel of Earth, sanctuary of Apollo and religious centre. The city was also famous for being the site of the Delphic Oracle. Today, the ancient city is in ruins and its treasures are in the adjoining Museum of Delphi.
Drive from Athens through the ancient city of Thebes to Levadia, where you can stop for some time before continuing towards Delphi through the picturesque mountain village of Arachova.
Once at Delphi, check out the archaeological ruins of the Temple Of Apollo, 6th Century Treasury of the Athenians, 5th Century Stoa of the Athenians and the theatre. At the adjoining Museum Of Delphi, you can get an insight into the riches these ruins of Delphi once hosted; exhibits include the Bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos.
Later, stop for lunch before returning to Athens and your hotel via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova.
Overnight in Athens
After breakfast, checkout from your Athens hotel and proceed to the Athens Airport to board your flight to Crete. On arrival at Crete, continue on to your hotel for check-in.
No activities are planned for today, leaving you free to rest after your journey and explore the neighbourhood at your own leisure.

After a tour of the Knossos Palace, proceed to the nearby Heraklion to browse through the historic treasures excavated from the archaeological sites of Crete in the Archaeological Museum. Unique in its record of the Minoan civilization, the museum houses idols made of terra cotta, marble and alabaster, collections of gold, jewellery, ivory, figurines, sarcophagi and the original frescoes of the Knossos Palace and other Minoan sites.
After the tour ends, return to your hotel.

After breakfast, you are free to spend the day as you please. No activities are planned for the day and you are at leisure to explore the city on your own, shop for unique treasures, dine and wine and enjoy Crete and all its pleasures on your own.
