Athens & Crete Island Tour

Day 01 -

Arrival to Athens meets and greet by our representative. Transfer and accommodation to the hotel.

Day 02 -

Breakfast. In the morning Athens Sightseeing excursion. Depart for Panathinaiko Stadium cradle of the first Olympic Games took place in 1896 (short stop). Pass by the Prime’s Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, (guarded by colourful Evzones) Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Pauls Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemans House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church. Continue passing by Temple of Olympion Zeus, and finally Acropolis, visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erechtheion.

In the evening walk in ancient Plaka area then optional Athens By Night tour with dinner in tavern with traditional Greek music and live show.

Day 03 -

Breakfast. One day tour to Delphi: After leaving Athens continue through Thebes, Levadia (short stop) and Arachova for Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Pass by Castalia Spring, visit at the archaeological site the Temple Of Apollo famous for its oracle and the Museum Of Delphi, with it's spectacular finds, including the bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos. After lunch return to Athens via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus.

Return to Athens in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 -

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast transfer to Airport for departure flight to Heraklion, Crete. Arrival to Crete. Transfer and accommodation to a hotel. Free time. Overnight.

Day 05 -

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast Private tour to Knossos Palace and its museum: Visit the ancient Minoan Palace of Knossos which is the biggest and the best remaining example of the old Minoan civilization that can only be found in Crete. The palace is a few kilometers from Heraklion and covers more than 20,000 sq meters (24,000 sq yd).

Drop off at Hotel. Free time. Overnight.

Day 06 -

Breakfast at Hotel. Free day for leisure & shopping.

Day 07 -

Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to the airport and departure.
